Wind turbine service technicians inspect, diagnose, adjust, or repair wind turbines. They perform routine maintenance on equipment, underground transmission systems, wind fields substations, or fiber optic sensing and control systems. These technicians diagnose problems involving generators or control systems. They test electrical components of wind systems with special devices and climb wind turbine towers to make repairs or collect data for analysis.
